LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER

"Mindful parenting is the hardest job on the planet, but it's also one that has the potential for the deepest kind of satisfaction... and the greatest feelings of interconnectedness and community and belonging." By  Jon Kabat- Zinn.

Mindfulness is seeing things more clearly and paying attention moment to moment.  It is the basis for understanding our thoughts, our emotions and our fears.  Mindfulness helps us to take a pause and look at a difficult situation with a new sense of focus.  When we can see clearly, we are better able to direct our choices with more wisdom , attention and compassion.

The best gift we can give to our children is to become better parents.   In our ability to become mindful,we can gain greater insight into who and what we are.  We  are constantly preoccupied with the past or the future and rarely concentrate on the present.  Children live what they learn .  Let them notice your presence and they will follow suit.
